I agree to some extent. but briefly there are some points to raise.

- Yes Pakistan is facing problems created by its own people, but it's naive to think there is no foreign involvement. Think of the geo-political importance of the country. Its role as a cross road between the middle east/central asia/south asia. There are many external stakeholders who are involved and specifically those mentioned by Zaid Hamid have the most to gain/lose. Simple example. There are 14 indian consulates in afghanistan and i am pretty sure they are not just there to issue a million visas a day.
- Zaid Hamid is quick to blame external factors, which is a bit odd at times, but keep in mind there is violent extremism across the border willing to destabilise the nation, just as there is extremism in the country
- XE's role is not a myth. There are documented and well reported abductions and kidnappings by blackwater/xe in islamabad
- its easy to shrugg off that there is no foreign influence in the country, but say in 10 years time you will see a host of confessions by former xe personnell confessing to their actions on the History Channel and in-depth reports being produced on what really happened

I completely agree with you, I always tell people that what is happening to our country is not because of some Hindu-Zionists... but its the result of our own deeds. And only we can mend this problem. Conquering Delhi or destroying Israel won't end our problems.

I was just waiting for that moment. A man was getting fame and no one was criticizing on any of his sayings or doings. Finally world started getting attention about the wake up calls and selected Mr. Asif to write against it. Good job.
apni feelings and observations apne pas tak he rakho dosron ko kyu spoil kar rahay ho

I repeat again, PRAC was Abidi's project, he worked hard for it, day and night, nurtured it, grew it and managed it. Hence it was his baby. There is no doubt that PRAC was part of MQM and that a majority if not all of PRACs members were from MQM.
MQM is as strong as its supporter base and its workers like Abidi who contribute to that workforce that make MQM strong, because if back in the early days, Altaf Hussain didn't get the support of the Mohajirs there will be no MQM today, its because the people supported him is the very reason why MQM is strong today because they still support MQM. Its a chicken and egg scenario.
